The M6 motorway is just
16 miles away and the main London Glasgow railway line has a stop off at Kendal
Oxenholme station where you can catch the local connection to Windermere station.
By road you come off the
M6 motorway at Junction 36 and head for Windermere on the A591. Turn left into
Windermere itself and soon after the first set of traffic lights turn left again
into Ellerthwaite Road. Turn left again into Holly Road.
Holly-Wood Guest House is on your
right just before the next intersection.
