The town of Windermere is just 1/2 a mile from the largest natural lake in England, Lake Windermere. The town is a great place from which to access the rest of the lake district or to venture farther afield.
How to find us
Travelling to Windermere you come off the M6 motorway at Junction 36 and head for Windermere on the A591. Turn left into Windermere itself and soon after the first set of traffic lights turn left again into Ellerthwaite Road. Turn left again into Holly Road. Holly-Wood Guest House is on your right just before the next intersection.
